Six years ago, the original Control surprised players not only with a new approach to third-person shooters, but also with a demonstration of ray tracing. Now NVIDIA has moved further and introduced path tracing, a more realistic simulation of light. Remedy promises to use it in Control Resonant.
NVIDIA announced 20 new games with support for its technologies, including Control Resonant. The project will receive DLSS 4.5 from release, path tracing, and RTX Mega Geometry, a technology that will also appear in The Witcher 4.
