Nintendo has unveiled a new game and added to the release calendar for Switch 2.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will be released on May 21, 2026. Along with the release date, a new trailer was shown. It features one of the opponents – Glubbit, an unusual creature that releases bubbles. With their help, Yoshi will be able to reach hard-to-reach places.
The trailer also hints at deeper interaction with the environment. Different creatures react differently to fruits, changing properties and opening up new ways to progress. Judging by what was shown, Nintendo is preparing not just a cute platformer, but a project with a large number of mechanics.
