Quake III will once again challenge video cards.
Recently, NVIDIA drew the community's attention to a fan-made RTX remaster of Quake III Arena, which is being created using the company's tools.
The trailer showcased a modern version of the "Area 15 - Nvidia Bunker" map:
The remaster includes path tracing, DLSS 4, new materials, RTX Remix Logic system, and improved visual effects for particles (Advanced Particle VFX).
The current version of Quake III Arena RTX Remix Mod v0.6 has already been published on ModDB. The project has moved from "demo" status to "early access."
