Shortly after announcing the "Luigi and Mach 8" set, created for fans of the Mario Kart racing franchise, the LEGO Group unveiled its first official Mario minifigure from the universe of the iconic Super Mario platformer.
In the footage posted on social media, the tiny mustachioed hero in his signature blue and red plumber's outfit jumps out of a green pipe.
It is not yet clear which set this novelty will be part of, but it may mark the beginning of the release of the entire Super Mario line in minifigure format.
Unfortunately, LEGO Group representatives are not yet ready to reveal details about the minifigure.
It will only be possible to get it in 2027, so Super Mario fans, LEGO builders, and collectors will have to be patient.
