Recently, Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov announced a major change to ergonomics. They plan to introduce more "realistic" aiming into the game.
However, many members of the EFT community were not thrilled with this idea and began to criticize the developer. For example, blogger LVNDMARK spoke out:
Realism is not equal to the enjoyment of the game, and I don't even think [this aiming] is realistic. You should remove some of the mechanics that made the game so "clunky", instead of adding new ones. Just my opinion.
Some participants in the discussion threatened to delete Escape from Tarkov altogether. In their opinion, Battlestate Games seems to be deliberately trying to make everything as little "fun" as possible.
Soon Nikita Buyanov replied:
Guys, I understood and received feedback on the planned changes to aiming. Calm down, there will be another iteration, and first we will test everything on [a special server]. If you still don't like it - then I will double my efforts and add it to the game as soon as possible!
Just kidding. Let's first look at and test [aiming] with the new changes to balance everything. I hope this will add more immersion, and you will like it. Don't worry, only one team member and I are working on this.
