Animula Nook directly competes with the Animal Crossing series. The project is distributed under a free-to-play model and offers significantly more modern graphics than the Japanese publisher.
The graphics look so impressive that comments periodically appear stating that Animula Nook is a scam and Tencent has shown fake gameplay. In a few days, the reality of the project can be verified. The latest video doesn't show anything that gaming PCs or modern consoles couldn't handle – the game will be released not only on PC, but also on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
You can apply to participate in the Animula Nook playtest on the official website of the game until March 15, 2026. It also states that the number of global registrations has reached 6.97 million.
