Employees of the «Bombora» publishing house reported that they are currently working on the book «Nothing is True», dedicated to the well-known company Ubisoft.
The book will tell about the family business of the Guillemot clan and how a small French studio grew into one of the largest international publishers. The focus is on key figures of Ubisoft: Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, Michel Ancel and other people behind popular games.
A separate section is devoted to the company's technologies and projects that influenced entire genres, as well as the difficult years of Ubisoft — the departure of leading developers, service failures, high-profile scandals and attempts to rethink its own future.
Nikita Volkovich is responsible for the book — a journalist and author of large articles for the «Mir Fantastiki» magazine, where he writes various texts about games and the industry. The release date and cost of the publication have not yet been disclosed.
