Almost every post from the studio is met with comments in the same vein: "no one will buy this on PS5", "we need a Steam version", "without PC, this game will die". This reaction came after a leak of information about Sony's new, more rigid strategy.
Some users are even more blunt. In their opinion, Saros is not a mainstream game, so it needs a wide audience. Releasing it only on PS5 is called a "waste of talent" by the developers.
"Speaking on behalf of everyone: no one will buy this until you release the game on PC and Xbox," one user wrote. The wave of similar comments intensified after Sony began hinting at a return to full exclusivity for its major single-player projects.
The situation is made more ironic by information from journalist Jason Schreier. According to his data, Saros and Ghost of Yotei were originally planned to be released on PC as well.
