God of War Rumors: New Heroine, Battle with Kratos, and Trilogy Remake

Anonymous rumors about the future of the God of War series have surfaced online. If they are confirmed, the perception of the franchise could change dramatically.

According to rumors, the main character of the next major Sony Santa Monica project will be Faye, Atreus' mother. It is claimed that the game will be one of Sony's most important projects of this generation and will even stand above Wolverine. The announcement is allegedly being prepared for the June State of Play release.

Serious changes in gameplay are also reported. Faye will not be limited to just the Leviathan axe; it will only be one of the available types of weapons. An important role will be played by nature magic, allowing you to control the environment: freeze rivers, knock down trees on enemies, and change the weather during battle.

According to rumors, the game's action will go beyond one mythology. There are mentions of travels between Scandinavia and ancient Egypt, where Faye allegedly acts as a "hidden hand," influencing the fates of different pantheons and even events from Kratos' Greek past.

One of the most discussed moments is the battle with Kratos. According to rumors, in the middle of the game, Faye will face him as a boss, who will appear under the name "Marked Warrior."

Other gods are also mentioned – Thor, Vidar, and Forseti.

Separately, there is talk of a remake of the original Greek trilogy. The project is allegedly led by Bruno Velazquez, the animation director of the northern parts. According to rumors, each of the three games is planned to be released separately — one per year, with releases on March 22. They should be released on PS5 and possibly on PS6.

So far, these are just unconfirmed rumors.
