Recently, GamesRadar+ journalists spoke with Jennifer Hale, the voice actress for the female version of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect.

Jennifer was asked about her hopes for the future of the Mass Effect series:

I have so many hopes, but there are also concerns — after all, BioWare was sold to a company [Electronic Arts], which is now being sold itself, and we don't know... that is, it's unclear whether the culture and spirit that created this incredible game have been preserved. I don't know how much has remained the same — I have absolutely no idea. But I know that the spirit of the game itself is still alive, and the community's desire to see a sequel is absolutely obvious. And if I were called to work, I would agree without hesitation.

When asked, "What scenario do you dream of?" Jennifer answered — Shepard's return:

Find a way for Mark [male version of Shepard] and me to be together in the same universe. That would be fun. And in general, I would bring back the whole team — I think there are many more stories that can be told about them.
