The classic pirate RPG returns in an updated format.
ReCon Team has released a remaster of the cult pirate RPG "Pirates of the Caribbean: City of Lost Ships" on Steam.
The project is titled Caribbean Legend: Age of Pirates, and it is based on the "City of Lost Ships" version 1.3.2 AT from BlackMark Studio:
You are the captain and owner of your ship. And this is the best fate in the Caribbean of the 17th century. Serve the powers, trade, plunder caravans, explore islands, capture cities, hunt for treasures, meet historical figures, gather a team of loyal companions and a fleet of legendary ships.
You can embark on adventures in Caribbean Legend: Age of Pirates as the doctor Peter Blood or create your own hero.
The game offers "sixty hours of content" — featuring several nations and heroes, including a female character; a large open world, Indian ruins and dungeons to explore, sieges and captures of colonies, trade, numerous events and quests.
The first reviews of Caribbean Legend: Age of Pirates on Steam are "mostly positive." Players point out technical issues and some note that "Despite all the innovations for convenience, there is still a feeling that the game as a whole has become more difficult."
