A few days ago, the company held a presentation of its future games. Among them, they showed a new part of Onimusha, which was dedicated to a detailed demonstration.
The first full-fledged game in the series in 20 years is scheduled to be released in 2026. Therefore, it seemed that the March Capcom Spotlight Showcase would be the perfect moment to announce the release date, but this did not happen. Although the game appeared at the presentation, the developers did not name the exact release date.
The reason turned out to be simple – the project is in the final stage of production.
The developers urged players to wait for the next announcement. It seems that the team is currently working on the final edits and polishing, so confirming the release date is only a matter of time.
