In this project, participants become architects striving to transform the capital of Cuba into a magnificent city. Players will have to collect colored bricks and gray rubble, hire workers, and erect buildings. Each structure brings prestige points, and the first to score the required number of VP wins.
The game uses an original initiative mechanic. Cards determine not only possible actions but also the order of play. By playing two cards, the participant forms a number from them: the smaller it is, the earlier the player takes actions. You have to choose — to perform useful actions or to seize the initiative.
With the help of the Robber, you can steal pesos from your opponent, and the Stolen Goods Hider will allow you to steal building materials from another player. The Bodyguard will protect resources from the encroachments of opponents. These and other characters will be needed by gamers to carry out their plans.
The construction cards depict real buildings and landmarks of Havana. The resource bag is made of real jute fabric, and the game tokens are made of wood. Action cards with Spanish inscriptions convey the authentic atmosphere of the Cuban capital.
