Recently, Jennifer Swedberg-Yen, the writer of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, spoke with GamesRadar+ during the GDC conference.
The journalist asked in what direction she would like to develop the series (if Clair Obscur becomes a series of several games at all).
The girl knows the answer, but didn't say anything:
I can't tell you that. If I told you, I'd have to kill you. I would really like to share everything, because, as my husband knows, I don’t know how to keep secrets at all — I love to share information. But no, I can't. Sorry.
Some players interpret such "silence" as indirect confirmation of plans for a sequel to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It is assumed that if there were no plans, she could give a direct answer in the spirit of "we have not yet thought about a sequel."
