Survival crafting is a very unique genre. It's a genre characteristic of Steam. Everyone has their own ideal vision of such games, and we hope that Palworld 1.0 will be something for everyone.
Details of the update have not yet been revealed, but the changes will affect almost all aspects. Players will be able to continue with their old characters, but the studio advises to start over.
It's still a secret. There will be things that will surprise people. I think players will be shocked. You can continue with an old character, but it's better to start from scratch – everything will change.
They will also add a "huge portion of endgame content."
Many of our dedicated fans and players would like Palworld to become like No Man's Sky, where massive updates are released over a decade. But, realistically speaking, this is unlikely to be possible for Palworld, not only because of engine limitations, but also because it is a survival game with crafting elements. I don't think you can endlessly add five or ten levels until the game becomes too cumbersome.
