Todd Howard recently gave an interview to IGN. During the conversation, they touched on the upcoming The Elder Scrolls VI.

The developer did not talk about the content of the game, but discussed some technical aspects.

TES VI uses the Creation Engine 3 engine. According to Howard, the developers drew conclusions from their experience working on Starfield — the changes will affect rendering and loading:

A lot of work is being done on exactly how we load worlds and display them on the screen almost instantly, how we cope with the scale we usually work at, and how we manage data streams.

Todd Howard clarified that Creation Engine 3 is not focused on graphics alone:

The engine is responsible for data structures, loading, character artificial intelligence, saves, the platform on which everything runs. Everything that makes up the engine includes much more than just the final frame on the screen.

He also noted that TES VI builds are "running stably almost every day." Developers are adding new content and conducting tests.

The release window for The Elder Scrolls VI has not yet been announced.
