Gamers got the opportunity to play Death Stranding 2: On the Beach on PC a couple of days before the official release date.
Sony didn't offer "early access" for purchasing a premium edition. Apparently, an error was made when publishing the build for pre-loading.
Such builds are usually encrypted, and then decryption is carried out on Steam on the release day. However, this time something clearly went wrong. The game doesn't have Denuvo protection, and hackers quickly dealt with the standard DRM.
The full release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is expected on March 19.
