Currently, Crimson Desert has "mixed" reviews on Steam – 60% positive opinions. This is a weak result for a major release.
However, the complaints are not so much about technical issues. Players more often criticize the plot, drawn-out beginning, inventory management, interface, and overall comfort of the game.
This is more difficult for developers than fixing bugs – such elements are harder to rework. However, some of the problems can still be solved with updates if the studio reacts quickly.
Despite the ratings, the game had a strong start: on the night of release, the online reached 239 thousand players. It's far from Steam records, but the numbers may grow on the weekend.
