Photographer Ekaterina "Marten" Kunitsa invites fans of roguelikes and ancient Greek mythology to return to the universe of the game Hades, which was fully released back in 2020.
During the photo shoot, cosplayers Vikenty "Darky" Shevyrin and Rita "Trisha Layons" Korochkova once again transformed into characters such as Zagreus and Megaera.
Zagreus is the Prince of the Underworld and the main character of Hades. He tries his best to protect friends and loved ones, regardless of status or social expectations.
He has heterochromia, as the protagonist inherited eye color from each of his parents: red from Hades and green from Persephone. The hero is often shown to be modest, good-natured, and sarcastic. Thanks to his cheerful and slightly rebellious nature, Zagreus easily finds common ground with others.
Megaera is one of the three Fury sisters and a boss that the Prince of the Underworld must defeat before moving on to Asphodel. Before the events of the game, Megaera and Zagreus were already in a romantic relationship, but broke up on a bad note. It becomes clear from the dialogues that the breakup was painful.
However, the player has the opportunity to restore and strengthen the connection between them, as well as observe their full-fledged romantic relationship.
