On March 21, 2026, pre-orders will open for the "Legio Custodes" combat group for the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game, so Games Workshop has published photos in which Warhammer community artists showed painted versions of miniatures from this set.
This is a box containing one Shield-Captain, six Custodian Guards and six Sentinel Guards, a "Contemptor"-type dreadnought that assembles into an "Achilles" or "Galatus", and a "Caladius-Annihilator" grav tank.
Angelo Di Chello, Antonio Rivera, Colin Ward, Joseph Knoblach, Ruben Rodriguez, Scott White, and Vincent Notley presented their Custodian Guards, protecting the interests of the Emperor of Mankind.
Andrew Haywood, Angelo Di Chello, Howard Tee, Antonio Rivera, Colin Ward, Lauren Wingrove, and Oliver Keely demonstrated the Sentinel Guards, who prefer to use the "Presidium" shield.
Colin Ward, Matt Wingrove, Spencer Stone, and Robert Wolfs "pumped up" the "Caladius-Annihilator" grav tank, which is equipped with an advanced "Arachnus" flash cannon powered by capacitors.
Ben Madge, Jack Hunter, Jessica Smart, Lloyd Davis, Oliver Keely, and Spencer Stone introduced people to the "Contemptor"-type dreadnought, which is a cybernetic sarcophagus for Adeptus Astartes.
Brennan Baker, Angelo Di Chello, Henry Chown, Jenny Ruskin, Jose David Gonzalez Ramos, Jose from SN Battle Reports, Juan Sans, Marco Miladinovic, and Sergio Calvo painted the Shield-Captain.
