Crimson Desert utilizes the potential of PS5 Pro, but the game looks significantly better on PC. Players analyze every element, and the developers have tried to leverage the capabilities of all platforms, but recent comparisons show the difference.
The game has received support for PS5 Pro, and it looks solid on the Sony console. However, owners of high-performance PCs can expect much higher graphics quality, as confirmed by testing.
A detailed comparison was prepared by the ElAnalistaDeBits channel. The expert noted that the PC version clearly wins in terms of ray tracing, especially thanks to NVIDIA's ray reconstruction technology. The interiors of buildings look different – they are more realistic, better lit, and the shadows look more natural.
PC also offers a higher level of detail, more particles, improved reflections, and increased draw distance. This makes the game world denser and more believable. Ray reconstruction is not perfect: in scenes with waterfalls or rain, animations may "freeze" if the player stops moving.
As for scaling technologies, the PS5 Pro has its strengths. PSSR 2.0 is a clear step forward, but DLSS still offers better quality. As a result, although the PS5 Pro performs well, there is no doubt that Crimson Desert was created with a focus on maximizing the capabilities of PC.
