This year, with the help of the second edition of Company of Heroes: The Board Game, dedicated to World War II, players in Russia will be able to command the armies of the USSR and Nazi Germany, capture control points, and crush their opponents.
Board Zeppelin publishing house announced that pre-orders have opened for the second edition of Company of Heroes: The Board Game — a tabletop adaptation of Relic Entertainment's Company of Heroes video game designed to be as close to the original as possible.
Thanks to the "early birds" promotion, it can be purchased for 9,999 rubles, a set of two copies for 19,500 rubles, three for 28,800 rubles, and four for 38,000 rubles. After March 31, the price of the base set will increase to 10,500 rubles.
The base box allows matches for two participants, recreating battles between the forces of the USSR and Germany. Each additional copy makes it possible to expand the opposing sides by two more players, thus enabling large-scale team battles involving up to eight people.
In addition, having several sets is necessary to assemble large battle maps for some large-scale scenarios. In Company of Heroes: The Board Game, participants will have to maneuver combat units and fight for control points, capturing resources and earning victory points.
Resources and combat experience gained in battle will be needed to unlock and purchase new units, as well as to improve their characteristics and activate the commander's abilities.
The estimated time frame for the game's arrival in Russia is September or October 2026.
