He didn't use ready-made guides or video walkthroughs, but independently documented his progress — taking notes and drawing maps in a notebook.
Despite his age, he is still able to skillfully deal with enemies.
Yan Binlin was engaged in scientific research and engineering development, and in 1996 he retired and discovered the world of video games. Game Grandpa was included in the Guinness Book of Records — he was recognized as the oldest gaming streamer.
