Aggregator Metacritic has published its annual ranking of the best global publishers. At the end of last year, the Japanese corporation Square Enix triumphantly topped this prestigious list.
According to the latest report, the giant released 9 diverse projects over the year. Importantly, absolutely every one was received warmly and positively.

- Take-Two (304.0 points)

- Electronic Arts (302.9 points)
- Dotemu (302.2 points)
- Raw Fury (301.0 points)
The average score of all released games was an impressive 84 out of 100. The highest-rated hit in the portfolio was the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with an average score of 90. Other notable releases include Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles (88), Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake (88) and Octopath Traveler 0 (84).
