Games Workshop kept its promise and showed off new items for the Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team tabletop game at the Adepticon Preview 2026 event.
Elite Imperial Guardsmen will face the Red Terror, a unique Ravener bioform bred by the Hive Mind to be the perfect instrument of terror.
The "Terror on Devlan" expansion set changes the usual formula, pitting soldiers from the "Spectre" squad against one massive opponent. Their attempts to destroy the enemy are spread across nine linked cooperative missions.
The Red Terror returns in its first standalone plastic kit to terrorize the galaxy once more. This enormous serpentine monster has the unique ability to restore damage through absorbed biomass. It can disappear beneath the battlefield and lurk in ambush until it is ready to attack and swallow operatives whole.
"Spectre" fighters wear light armor and are equipped with camouflage cloaks, helping them move unnoticed across rough terrain, relying on ambushes and cunning tactics to destroy strong targets.
They are armed with heavy equipment for more traditional firefights, such as a rapid-fire autostubber, as well as a plasma or melta rifle of choice. The developers will not forget to include tokens and the "Dossier: Terror on Devlan."
In addition, the book "Dossier: Nemesis Operatives" will be available, containing a set of rules for creating your own nemesis operatives: generating characteristics, weapons, and abilities suitable for various scenarios.
