Escape from Tarkov developers have released update 1.0.4.0, which includes technical improvements and more.
Those who purchased the Edge of Darkness edition, as well as players who upgraded from Edge of Darkness to The Unheard Edition, received unique customization sets for both factions.
New USEC ScavTac and BEAR Three Stripes customization sets have been put on sale.
Some changes and improvements:
- Changes have been made to further reduce waiting times when loading into an online raid;
- For tasks that require eliminating targets in specific areas, the completion zones have been increased
- Adjustments have been made to the protection zones of the built-in armor for some body armor and armored rigs:
- Fixed the cause of BTR driver quest progression resetting in some cases;
- The conditions for completing PMC operative tasks have been significantly simplified;
- The duration of most productions in the Hideout, which are necessary to complete story quests, has been reduced by 40%;
- Additional tasks have been added to the "Tour" story chapter to simplify the opening of locations. Now, instead of completing a survival task in a location, you can complete a task for several visits to that location;
- Figures and posters that were available as rewards during the Release Twitch Drops Event now spawn in locations;
- The time interval during which the transition from the Shoreline location to the Terminal is available has been increased;
- Changes have been made to speed up and smooth the operation of the main menu tabs and the loading of dialogues with traders;
- Implemented the ability to play as a Wild in single player in the PVE Zone on the player's local computer in order to reduce the waiting time for raid search;
