Starfield is gearing up for release on PS5, and owners of Sony's console should free up space on their drives in advance. The game has appeared on PlayStation servers, and the numbers are impressive: the base file takes up 123.347 GB.
However, this is just the beginning. Additions are being made to the main game: Shattered Space will require another 12.502 GB, and Terran Armada — 4.017 GB. As a result, the full installation of the Bethesda game is approaching the 140 GB mark.
According to PlayStationSize, pre-loading will start on April 5, and the full release is scheduled for April 7, 2026. Build version 01.000.001 has now been uploaded to the network, but it is possible that closer to release the developers will release a day-one patch.
