The creators of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 truck driver simulator continue to introduce the community to upcoming content. Recently, they reminded about the Iceland add-on, which will add the "land of fire and ice" (Iceland) to the game.
SCS Software has prepared a selection of screenshots — players are invited to get acquainted with the Icelandic city of Keflavik:
For millions of travelers every year, Keflavik marks both the beginning and the end of their trip to Iceland. Outside the city is Reykjavik–Keflavik Airport, the country's main international hub. We have presented it in the game in the list of industries, as it also handles a significant proportion of the island's cargo.
Also, the authors of ETS 2 will present in the game a number of other enterprises to which (or from which) goods can be delivered. Among them: a shipyard, a car dealership, a supermarket, as well as a gas station and a service station:
Although these locations are technically located in the neighboring town of Njarðvík in real life, these two towns, together with the village of Hafnir, are part of the larger municipality of Reykjanesbær.
