Cosplayers Gaiar and Many-Faced Demon transformed into Sirius Black and Luna Lovegood from the "Harry Potter" universe to prepare Potterheads for the upcoming HBO series and return to Hogwarts.
The premiere of the "Harry Potter" series from HBO, which has already attracted the attention of many people due to the slightly changed Severus Snape (aka Severus Snogg), will only take place on December 25, 2026.
But thanks to the cosplayer community, people can once again be transported to the magical universe created by writer J.K. Rowling.
During a photoshoot conducted by photographer Liza "Shinori" Egorova, cosplayers Gaiar and Many-Faced Demon (aka Svetik Danna) appeared as Sirius Black and Luna Lovegood from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Sirius Black is James Potter's best friend, one of the Marauders, Harry's godfather, and a member of the Order of the Phoenix. He is an Animagus, a wizard capable of transforming into a huge black dog.
It was Sirius who spent twelve years in Azkaban on false charges of betraying Lily and James Potter, as well as murdering twelve Muggles. This character despised the ideas of his Black family, who were obsessed with blood purity. In addition, he was the only member of the family to be sorted into Gryffindor, not Slytherin.
Luna Lovegood is a Hogwarts student from Ravenclaw, who was in the year below Harry Potter. Despite her eccentricity and commitment to strange beliefs, she remains a smart and capable witch.
Luna dresses the way she wants and does not seek to shock or surprise others with her appearance. In addition, the girl is talented in painting and is able to see Thestrals - skeletal winged horses.
