Albion Online is already available on PC and mobile devices, and now the developers are preparing for another release.
Sandbox Interactive has been developing the project for almost a decade, of which almost 7 years the game switched to a free-to-play model, which allowed it to survive the following years. The release on mobile devices only improved the performance, thanks to which the franchise already has more than 5 million registered players.
On April 21, 2026, the game will also appear on Xbox Series X|S consoles, which will be the console release of the project, providing a certain temporary exclusivity of the game on Microsoft devices.
Albion is a slightly different MMO than the others: more relaxed, focused on the economy and real cooperation between players, and not just on killing herds of monsters.
