Five years ago, the project Aliens: Fireteam Elite burst onto the market, thanks to which fans of cooperative projects got the opportunity to jointly destroy hordes of xenomorphs.
The project feels good on consoles and PC, so the news is really surprising.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite has suddenly been removed from sale in the Nintendo digital store, and on August 5, 2026, the servers will be shut down. This is a blow to those who paid $30 for the standard edition of the game in the eShop – just two years after its release on Nintendo systems, the project is going to the bottom.
The developers thanked the community for their support and announced that after August 5, access to the game will be impossible.
We apologize to our loyal players for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
