Only text translation is available for Crimson Desert, but some players would like to have a full Russian localization.
SynthVoiceRu has a technical solution — the localizers have released a Russian voiceover for Crimson Desert, which they created using AI. They faced some difficulties during the work.
For example, the subtitles in the game are "crooked" and completely absent in some scenes. The localizers also faced a shortage of audio files in the English version and "sound desynchronization with the text":
[...] due to developer errors, we had to spend a huge amount of time testing and manually adjusting each line, working from morning to morning. And here is the release version, we fixed speech accelerations and decelerations, overcame frequent English words in story cutscenes, rare breaks may occur, we could not find ways to fix this.
Nevertheless, SynthVoiceRu was still able to present the Russian voiceover for Crimson Desert a week after the game's release.
