Leaks have surfaced suggesting that Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment may be preparing to present a new game in just a few days, around May 4th, on Star Wars Day.
The fact that it is in development is no secret. Cameron Monaghan, the actor playing Cal Kestis, previously confirmed the production. It is expected that the third part will be the finale of the story, and the release may take place at the end of 2026.
The most interesting thing concerns the plot. According to the leak, the story will become more personal and focus on Cal's family. The motif of the hero's daughter is mentioned, as well as Katie, who will become his adopted child. The leak hints at a conflict between them, while Cal himself will struggle with the Dark Side of the Force in order to finally defeat it. The hero will supposedly use a white lightsaber.
The gameplay may add a stance with two blasters and a moral choice system in the spirit of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows or Ghost of Tsushima, although they will not affect the ending. The May 4th announcement may be limited to just a teaser or logo.
