At the end of March, updates were released for Red Dead Redemption and RDR 2 on PC in Steam. Players installed the updates and began sharing their impressions on the Steam forum.
RDR 2 players reported that they were suddenly given achievements for conditions they did not meet. For example, they supposedly completed Red Dead Redemption 2 to 100%, completed certain tasks, and leveled up in Red Dead Online.
There are currently no records of patches on the Rockstar Games website in the sections with Red Dead Redemption and RDR 2. Players speculate that these were purely technical updates related to the developer's service. There may have been a failure in the system, which caused achievements to be issued incorrectly.
