The head of Larian Studios decided to share information about the progress of work on the new Divinity.
Recently, Sven Vincke discussed the game with Narrative Director Adam:
He spent a whole week turning different versions of one specific situation over in his head, tweaking the wording, and came up with a bunch of ideas. What he was saying made sense, but that's not what struck me. He often has great ideas. What struck me was his level of energy [...] When our conversation turned to discussing the arcs of one of our antagonists and we started delving into the microdetails, I mentally said to myself, "Yes, this is good." It is these kinds of days that are the reason I love doing what I do.
According to Vincke, Divinity is currently at the stage of development where "there is still a lot that is raw and unfinished, but you can already feel that the game is 'coming to life'."
