It was assumed that the developers of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov: Arena would release an update with the second season in the first quarter. However, plans have changed.
Battlestate Games shared a new plan:
Dear players! We know that many are eagerly awaiting the 0.5.0 update in #TarkovArena, which was scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2026. We would like to share the news that the update release is being postponed to mid-April 2026.
The developers said that they will present new content, a second season battle pass, and fixes for various issues. It was also decided to port Escape from Tarkov: Arena to an updated version of the game engine — they will use Unity 6:
This step will help improve performance and make the gameplay smoother, but it will take more time than we initially allocated for the patch development.
