The publishing house "Lavka Igr" decided to open pre-orders for the Russian version of Terraria: The Board Game early — a board adaptation of the sandbox Terraria from the studio Re-Logic.
Right now, this board game can be purchased for 5490 rubles, a set of double neoprene player mats — for 1990 rubles, a set of plastic prefabricated bosses — for 2490 rubles, a set of wooden characters — for 1990 rubles. For the combo lot "All Terraria", which includes Terraria: The Board Game and all accessories, the team asks for 11,490 rubles.
The main mechanic of this cooperative board game for 1-4 people is deck-building: at the beginning, all participants have identical sets of action cards, which gradually become unique with the appearance of more effective cards.
The session is divided into rounds, and each round consists of three phases: the character phase, the enemy phase, and the world phase. In the character phase, players perform basic and additional actions, using their cards and jointly solving the tasks before them.
In the enemy phase, opponents are activated, after which they attack the characters. In the world phase, an update occurs. To complete tasks and win, participants need to explore the world. Exploration in breadth opens up new biomes, and exploration in depth opens up new layers. In each biome and at each level, heroes are waiting for different resources, treasures, and enemies. The configuration of the world changes every game.
