The PushSquare editorial team even refused to review the PC version, buying the game on PS5 for a fair test.

The results are disappointing: the publication gave the game a 6/10. Among the main drawbacks:

  • Really bad performance on PS5;
  • Graphical issues on PS5 Pro;
  • Almost complete lack of player convenience features;
  • The game sometimes resembles an early access project.

On the base PS5, the performance mode offers constant frame tearing and extremely blurry 1080p. In quality mode with 30 FPS, the picture is more stable, but the textures remain low quality. The situation is no better on PS5 Pro: in large camps, the frame rate drops below 20 FPS.

PSSR practically freezes when you are inside a building, trying to reproduce the details of light and shadow against the background of various wall textures. This leads to terrible artifacts and distractingly unnatural lighting; even character models acquire an unsightly metallic sheen, which indicates a serious flaw in the use of the upscaler.

The PlayStation Country portal (6/10) also criticized the controls and optimization:

In the fifth chapter, there is a boss where the frame rate on PS5 drops so much that it is unplayable for me.
