Team Ninja has released a major update for Nioh 3 under the number 1.040.030. This time, the development team focused on polishing the combat system.
The key element of the patch is a long list of fixes for weapons and specific techniques. The authors fixed errors that caused strikes not to combine into smooth combinations after dodges. Bugs related to incorrect Ki energy recovery during battles with bosses have also been fixed.
The update also brought useful improvements for player convenience. The map interface has become much clearer, and exiting expeditions now happens much faster. In turn, owners of modern consoles will appreciate the smoother cutscenes, which now run at 60 FPS.
The game is available on PC and PS5.
