The Occultist will try to surprise with beautiful graphics that go beyond the usual level for AA projects. On the other hand, this venture is plagued by Nacon's financial problems. The game is published by Daedalic Entertainment, which was acquired by the French company in 2022. This may negatively affect the quality.
The release trailer consists of CGI scenes, but impressive portions of gameplay have been published for The Occultist before. The authors have also published a demo version, which is still available on Steam.
