The developers of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach continue to improve the PC version of the game. They recently released update 1.2, which contains a number of technical improvements.

For example, performance has been improved on Steam Deck and on systems with limited PCIe bandwidth.

In addition, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has improved controls and fixed several bugs:

  • DualShock 4 triggers no longer require full depression to register input when using Steam Input.
  • Fixed various crashes, improved stability
  • Screenshots in photo mode taken in HDR no longer appear faded.
  • Fixed various bugs related to graphics, input, and interface
