Many things changed during the development process.
Initially, the image of Misty Olshevska from Cyberpunk 2077 was completely different. Recently, Erica Lindbeck, who voiced several characters at once, shared her memories of the original version of the character:
The character I was approved for in Cyberpunk 2077 was Meredith, and then Misty turned out to be a random minor character that I was just thrown in. We re-recorded her lines several times because [the developers] didn't know what to do with her.
The old version of Misty uttered a few phrases in the spirit of "Baby, your chakras are completely out of whack!".
Erica admitted that she "just hated it" and at that time said "Oh God, what are we going to do?".
However, CD Projekt RED eventually reworked Misty:
We got this soft version of the character, in the style of Harley Quinn from New Jersey. And now she has become one of my most beloved characters that I have voiced. I like her so much. And they kept writing more and more material for her, so Misty became a much more significant character than Meredith.
