Hobby World Publishing announced that pre-orders are open for the updated edition of the "Seafarers" expansion for the "Settlers of Catan" board game (also known as Catan). It can already be purchased for 3990 rubles.
The updated edition features new components and a slightly modified design. The expansion opens up new horizons for participants. Now, in addition to colonizing Catan, it will be possible to use ships, build sea routes, and explore new islands.
"Seafarers" includes an expanded campaign of eight scenarios, each offering different conditions and tasks - fight pirates, establish maritime trade, find a gold-bearing river, and erect great wonders of Catan.
The basic gameplay remains the same: you need to extract resources, build settlements and roads, engage in trade, and look for the best opportunities to develop the colony. The updated edition of "Seafarers" should appear in the warehouse in May 2026.
The expansion is compatible with all editions of the "Settlers of Catan" base game released since 2018. The design of components from different editions may vary, but this does not affect the gameplay.
