Turn-based strategy Ex Sanguis will be released in early access on May 21 on PC in Steam, Firesquid and Lightbulb Crew reported.
The early version will be fully playable and includes the main mechanics, offering several hours of content. The full release will add new content, improved balance, additional features, and possibly modes. The project is planned to be kept in early access for at least 6 months, but the timeline may change depending on player feedback and development progress.
Players will lead a squad of elite warriors and fight to save a dying world. The battle is built around aggressive effects – damage over time, knockbacks, chain reactions, and ability synergies, and blood has become part of the mechanics and visual style, emphasizing each clash and enhancing the feeling of turn-based pressure on the enemy.
The game allows you to choose a path and difficulty, complete risky missions, or focus on collecting resources. The roguelite system will add random abilities, and progress is partially saved even in case of failures.
