At the end of March, PC players were surprised by sudden updates to Red Dead Redemption and RDR 2 on Steam. These were technical updates related to Rockstar Games services.
The system malfunctioned, and some players who launched RDR 1 and 2 began to receive random achievements for completing and playing Red Dead Online.
Soon, the developers released another patch, but the "affected" players still have undeserved achievements in their Steam profiles. On the Rockstar website (social club), these "received" achievements are blocked, i.e., the bug only affects Steam.
Currently, members of the Red Dead Redemption and RDR 2 Steam communities are writing complaints to Rockstar Games support.
So far, they have not received specific answers; Rockstar representatives only say that they are looking into the problem.
Some players are not yet logging into Red Dead Online because they fear being banned for undeserved achievements.
