Recently, players remembered the first Mirror's Edge again. Members of the game preservation community announced the release of an archived build of Mirror’s Edge.
This version of Mirror's Edge was created approximately 9 months before release. The files were found more than 5 years ago, but launching it was complicated by damage to the game code and various bugs.
Nevertheless, tech enthusiasts were ultimately able to restore the Mirror's Edge build and run it on PC using the RPCS3 emulator.
Thanks to this, fans can explore the "draft" version of the game — prototypes of Mirror's Edge levels and unpolished mechanics.
