In the near future, fans of Legio Custodes and the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game will be able to separately purchase a Shield-Captain, Custodian Guards, Venatari, a Contemptor-type dreadnought, a Coronus grav-carrier, and a Caladius Annihilator grav-tank.
Some people have already managed to acquire the Legio Custodes battle group for the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game, containing a Shield-Captain, six Custodian Guards, six Sentinel Guards, a Contemptor-type dreadnought, and a Caladius Annihilator grav-tank.
Now it has become known that on April 11, 2026, pre-orders should open for "new" sets with these Custodian units. It will be possible to separately obtain a Shield-Captain with a head in a helmet and without it, armed with a blade of eternity and a Presidium shield.
They will bring in a set with six Custodian Guards, 12 heads in helmets and 11 without helmets (one of the fighters will even manage to issue a Magisterium Vexilla - a banner). They will allow you to buy a set with six Venatari, armed with archeotech kinetic destroyers, Tarsus bucklers and spears.
It will be possible to purchase sets with a Contemptor-type dreadnought, which is assembled into an Achillus or Galatus, a Coronus grav-carrier, a Caladius grav-tank, and a Caladius Annihilator grav-tank.
In addition, they will allow you to pre-order the book "Zardu Layak: The Crimson Apostle" by Rich McCormick. This novel about the rise of a fanatical heretic from the Word Bearers legion will be available in regular hardcover, in electronic and audiobook formats, as well as in a special edition.
The special edition is signed by the author and decorated with gold foil on the front, spine and edges of the pages (plus it is complemented by a dark red ribbon bookmark). The above items should appear on store shelves on April 25, 2026.
