Boris PiletskiyPublisher Strategy First recently remembered another old game. "ALPHA: Antiterror. Gold Edition" (or ALFA: Antiterror) has been released on Steam.
This is a collection of two tactical games — the original strategy "ALPHA: Antiterror" and the full-fledged expansion "Man's Work:":
You are a fighter of the elite special unit "Alpha", created to fight extremist armed groups. Afghanistan, Chechnya, the Pankisi Gorge, the caves of Tora Bora — wherever terrorism has found fertile ground, where fanatics have crossed the threshold of humanity, your weapons and your experience come into play. The legendary "Alpha" group in action — it's time to cleanse the planet!
"ALPHA: Antiterror. Gold Edition" combines the genres of "turn-based strategy" and "tactical simulator", and the missions have real historical prototypes. Employees of the "Alpha" and "Vympel" units were involved in the creation of the project.
