Recently, the marketing campaign of Turkish McDonald's has attracted the attention of players. They introduced a local "gamer" menu there.
Visitors will be able to get an anti-AFK device called Archie:
In online games, even a short break for food can lead to you being kicked out of the game [for inactivity (AFK)]. Paying attention to the problem that gamers have long been trying to solve with their workarounds, we at McDonald's Türkiye decided to introduce the "Archie" device, which allows players to enjoy food and the game at the same time. The project was developed by TBWA\Istanbul, one of the leading agencies in the advertising and marketing industry, known for its award-winning work.
This "Archie" device is made in the style of the McDonald's logo. It is worn on the analog sticks of the controller so that the character continues to move while the player eats.
