New information indicates that Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the first installment in the series, is almost ready.
According to insider Rebs Gaming, the game is content-complete and is currently undergoing final edits and optimization.
The project will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, confirming the course towards platform expansion. One of the new features will be a personalization system – the appearance can be changed using armor sets obtained in the game. At the same time, according to rumors, there will be no microtransactions.
The source also reports that the game will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, which will be held on June 7. The release date may also be announced then.
So far, the information has not been officially confirmed, but the coincidence of leaks and the upcoming show hint that the return of Halo is near.
